Abstract

The respondents were first asked whether they had already voted in advance in the 2007 Parliamentary elections. If they had, they were asked which party's candidate they had voted for; if they had not voted yet, they were asked which party's candidate they would vote for at the moment. Further questions covered how certain the respondents were about their party choice, whether they were going to vote in these elections, and which party's candidate they had voted for in the last Parliamentary elections. The respondents were presented with a set of statements related to various factors that had affected their party choice in these elections. Finally, they were asked which matters the most in voting at the moment, the last or the coming term.

Background variables included the respondent's gender, age, area of residence, occupational status, and province of residence.
